While I'm patrolin' tha streets of Boston in me Unhappy 'Gran-mobile', lookin' fer some bad-natured brats ta thwart, I listen ta me Sirius Satellite radio and that funny lad on channel 100. I also like a bit of Celtic music as well as a few OTHER classics... Frank Sinatra (Gotta love Ol' Blue Eyes, even if he ain't Irish), Glenn Miller and his orchestra, Dropkick Murphy's, Dean Martin, Johny Mathis, Shadows Fall, Tony Bennett and O' course... Slayer. Reign In Blood Baby!!!
Movies
The Matrix, (tha FIRST one... those other two are utter shite) Boondock Saints, La Femme Nikita, The Professional,(AKA Leon) The Limey, Long Kiss Goodnight, Smokey and the Bandit (Part one & two), Darkman, Unhappy Gran'ma (laugh now... but mebbe someday) Fight Club, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... Oh! Any movie by that funny young lad, Kevin Smith. I do enjoy his 'Silent Fat kid' character very much. I'll tell ye what else though... I have tha mind ta find that foul speakin' 'Jay' and wash his mouth out with a big bar of soap... or a grenade, 'cause I don't think soap is gonna be strong enough. I'm also lookin' forward ta watchin' tha new Batman movie this Summer (R.I.P. Heath)...
Television
I don't have much time fer T.V. with all O' me daily crime fightin'. Tha only shows worth watchin' are '24', 'Battlestar Galactica' and 'Lost'. This is tha ONE thing that Tom from Radbu and I can agree on! I can't wait fer '24' ta come back on so I can get me a solid dose O' Jack Bauer goodness! Oh, and 'Heroes' is alright too I suppose... but if I was on tha show it'd be alot better.
Books
I read 'Captain Drew and his Crew of Two', published by Radbu Productions (www.radbu.com). It's tha only book that can get me ta fall sleep at night. Zzzzzz... just kidding boyos! I love that pistol-packin' rascal Spartanacus!
Heroes
MESELF O' course... and that hunk O' an animal-lovin' hero, 'Hamster-Man'. That 'Captain Shenanigans' character is a REAL jackass though...
About me: I hate talkin' about meself... but I suppose it needs ta be done fer those o' ye who don't already know me. First off, I'm not what ye might consider REAL per se'... I'm a comic book character. I know... I know... this news... it's absolutely shockin' ta ye. Trust me, I'm as real as ye need me ta be, darlin' buds. Anyhoo, I'm an eighty year-old Granny with the spunk and energy of a twenty year-old,(maybe even a nineteen year-old)! I've taken it upon meself ta be a crime fighter in me lovely city of Boston, Massachusetts. Ya see kids, tha town has been dealin' with some pretty strange situations and bad-mannered individuals lately and somebody really needed ta 'grab the stick behind tha shed' and take care o' things properly! Now I've got meself some o' what ye might call 'Super-powers' and I use 'em ta fight tha baddies, with me fists and feet mostly... but I do enjoy shootin' me guns if tha need arises and 'thank the Saints', it usually does! (Ahem) Well then, after a good toe-to-toe 'throw down' with tha minions O' evil, I'll usually get the urge fer an 'Irish soda' so I hit up tha local pub on me way home fer a nice, room temperature Guinness Stout,(they would NEVER serve it cold where I come from ye know)! Now as fer where I was originally from... I don't care ta admit it, but I guess ye can say that I was created in tha demented minds O' those two mental idgits; Tom Van Zandt and Markellus Ragans from Radbu Productions (www.radbu.com -GO NOW!) back a few years ago. Fortunately fer me, these two jokers together couldn't manage ta draw a believable 'stick-figure'! Unfortunately fer me, it was startin' ta look like I might never get ta be seen at all. Well call it the 'Luck O' the Irish', but a talented and able young lad by tha name of Matt Ryan, (www.mattsminestudio.com) was kind enough ta finally step up ta the plate,(or paper if ye like) and bring me ta two-dimensional, comic book life! Matty is currently drawing tha second issue as ya read this, so that book won't be ready fer a wee bit longer. Tha good news is that tha FIRST issue is finally HERE!
