Sounds Like
Marsh gas illuminated by arcs of electricity in a sidereal pulse, the seething vegetative rot of anti-vampiric lunacy, the crackling of aurorae the humping of whales, cats squalling at the moon, thoughts slipping through the mirror from your other self, the ceaseless sibilance of the galaxy...
Martin Jacklin and Graeme Feltham are writers, composers and performers. Their first live gig was at the launch of an independent art gallery in Johannesburg in 1990. At their last gig, they were acused of doing "neither music nor poetry".
VBI is named after a blank part of the TV signal that tells the tube to clear the screen and start a new frame. The revolution is happening at 50/60 frames a second. Do not adjust your set. It is working perfectly.
Their second album, Severance has tinges of celtic, world and african sound, 50's electro, country, Shakespeare and Tesla. It was completed in June, and has yet to be officially released. Severance can be heard on the player above (4 tracks) and on VBI's facebook page (5 tracks).
VBI's first album, The Day the Earth Stood Still (2007), has been described as: "starkly beautiful", "(an) F. Scott Fitzgerald character reading from religious texts with Kerouac on piano in the distance", "the love song at the end of the world", "timeless and disturbing as an old Robert Johnson recording".

NEW BOOK OUT NOW Chthonic - Prose & Theory by Vadge Moore
"Vadge Moore is an American author and musician that has spent a lifetime testing the boundaries of good and evil. He toured and recorded with the infamous sleaze-punk institution The Dwarves, apocalyptic rock group Neither-Neither World, and his own nihilist-noise unit Chthonic Force. He has written for the early nineties occult journal Primal Chaos, the esoteric magazine Dagobert's Revenge, and the controversial web 'zine Synthesis. Recently Vadge has taken up an aphoristic-prose style of writing that best expresses his iniquitous and sinister insights into the mind of Man. Chthonic: Prose & Theory is just that; prose wedded to theory that scrutinizes the human, all too human, Monster that is Man." "Chthonic: Prose & Theory" is a collection of perverse and violent prose wedded to his own brand of occult esoterica. Peer into the mind of one of America's greatest living libertines.
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will often be lonely, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself - Fredrick Nietzsche
