About Vespera

The band started out in Cluj Napoca (Transylvania - Romania) in November 2005 and since then it's been playing an original form of modern, melodic metal with power, heavy, gothic and even doom, progressive and industrial influences - best described maybe as eclectic metal. Up to now Vespera has performed in Bucharest, Cluj Napoca, Baia Mare, Tirgu Jiu, Caransebes, Cavnic and Seini, sharing stages with bands like Next Waste Dimension and The Freaks (Holland), Voices of Silence, Altar, Grimus, C.a.s.h., Trooper, She-wolf, Shadowsail, Staccato, Seven, Abigail, Krypton and others.

On the 25th of October 2008 Vespera won the Maximum Rock competition for Romaninan underground bands.

Ziua Chitarelor - Bucuresti 550	Jul 1 2009 9:54 AM Ziua Chitarelor Ziua Chitarelor s-a nascut din ideea lui Corrado Sgandurra si se va realiza multumita lui Sorin Oprescu, Primarul General al Bucurestiului, cel care s-a aratat de la bun inceput, in favoarea acestei initiative… Pentru prima data in Romania, o intreaga zi dedicata chitarii, cu Master Class si concerte tinute de 4 dintre cei mai buni chitaristi ai momentului din lume, reuniti in aceeasi zi si acelasi loc in Bucuresti, pe 12 septembrie, in cadrul Zilelor Bucurestiului. Pentru aceasta prima editie, oaspetii vor fi – Jose de Castro, Mattias Ia Eklundh – Guthrie Govan – Richard Hallebeek De asemenea, ne vom bucura si de prezenta jurnalistului si criticului italian… Guglielmo Malusardi. !!! Lux Noctis	Jun 26 2009 11:56 PM Incepand de saptamana aceasta, Lux Noctis Party se muta fizic si temporal intr-o noua locatie si seara, mult mai accesibile publicului. Renasterea serilor goth romanesti are loc astazi, 27 iulie 2009 in Clubul Corner, situat pe str. Visarion 25 (punct de referinta: Sectia de Politie nr. 1, intre Piata Romana si Piata Victoriei) incepand cu orele 21:00. Conform traditiei, 3 DJ se vor ocupa de selectia muzicala din aria goth, post-punk, darkwave, industrial si neofolk. De altfel, pentru iubitorii filmelor de calitate, vor fi proiectate 2 filme : Bride of Frankenstein (1935) si The House of Wax (1953, cu Vincent Price). Intrarea este libera!
