Welcome to The Vince Rogers Project. We are a brand new electronica duo who formed in London early in 2007. We are Sam Duffy who does the singing and the eponymous Vince who does the other stuff.
We released our first single, "Unfamiliar Room", in Nov 2008. Steve Lamacq said on BBC Radio 2 “I don’t really know what it is but it’s a really charming little single”.
This follows our first album "Lily Rose Petunia" which came out in 2007. To get your hands on both just go to www.thevincerogersproject.com and everything you need is there. Thanks for listening!
The big day has finally come! My album is on iTunes, and will soon be on Amazon music! You can take a look here: http://bit. ly/nhVZ Otherwise, just type in "Lady Credos" in the iTunes store, and it should be right there. Thanks so much for supporting me, you rock! :D
I have to ask - have you been jamming with a certain East Dulwich Jug Band? We are talking left-field and no musical boundaries for you, sir! See you Thursday with a bit of luck. DJ78
Hello Vince. I found you like I find most artists and people on myspace, I pick artists I love and go visit their friend's web pages. It's amazing how diverse and yet, connected to us that makes it.
Thanks about Lustful Puppylove, it was the first song I ever recorded. It's a weird song cause there is no bridge (on purpose) and it was an experimentation on my part. I admit I also like the mood of it, very melancholic which is how I like my music even in other artists.
Loved your track and yes, it's really connected to myspace. How hugely broad it is and how almost everybody on earth is on this site it seems sometimes. Which brings a lot of things both good and bad. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
I've been told my style is really diverse. I guess that's what happens when you're interested in both folk/acoustic music and dance/electronic music...
I am at present melding the styles in my upcoming release Miles of Wire.
Your music is pretty awesome, also. Very unique...love the 3/4 time in "the green light."
Thank you for the wonderful album, very exceptional - something special in the uniformity of todays Pop-Music! I hope with these songs you will win friends all over the world. Heinz
