    Virus are mentioned as one of the legends of UK thrash metal & were formed in the summer of 1986 by Henry Heston & Tez kaylor, who were followed shortly after in 1987 by bassist John D Hess. Virus have played with some of the biggest names in the thrash genre e.g Megadeth,Death Angel, Cro Mags, Overkill, Lazz Rockett, Onslaught, Sabbat, Carcass, Lawnmower Deth, Discharge, Suicidal Tendencies Senser, Metal Messiah, Holosade, Savage Messiah, metal Duck, Acid Reign, DRI & Many others.... Lets fast forward to 2010..when the current line up was formed...this is a new rejuvenated Virus, more technical, more agressive riffs, that tear the very fabric of the genre apart...this is a new strain of an old disease that has already been infecting Europe & Scandinavia in 2011/2012 with their form of brutal thrash metal. Darren Rust (formely of Sigil) took on the difficult task of drumming for the quartet & has elevated the rythmn section to a technical ferocity of brain melting proportions. Paul James (ex Headbangers) is a very accomplished musician & has a degree in music & is an intergral part of a very tight rythmn section. Scott Lauzon(AKA "The Kraken")(Ex Septic Discharge from Folkestone, kent) is an extremely rare breed of young guitarist who learnt the Virus setlist in 2 weeks...he oozes confidence live & brings a very technical rythmic style to the band. Virus signed a deal with record company Adixtion Music at the start of 2012 & will record their 4th album later in the year entitled "Multiple Wargasms & it plans to be their most challenging project to date!!!!! With Coke Finlay at the helm, mystifying people with his blistering solos & grunting down the mic like a wounded Rhino..it seems that Virus are still a force to be reckoned with in thrash!!!!!!!
