i have an absolute facination with the road, dont ask me why! i dont drive (although i was really trying for a while!), but for the longest time ive been writing songs about travelling or moving (sounds interesting, i dont think!) but im influenced by nature, people, my niece Orna (shes only 9 and is learning how to play the guitar, the coolest chick in the world!) listening to my favourite music on a bus, alcohol, going to gigs (jazz mostly when i have the time) friends, kissing and good smiles. bands i listen to are: YES, Tori Amos, Bjork, Aidan, Gemma Hayes, Damien Rice, Ani Di Franco, Paul Simon, The Grand Mirage, Screaming Headless Torsos, Cinematic Orchestra, Feist, Anthony And The Johnsons, Torun Eriksen, Supergrass, Nina Simone, Emiliani Torrini, Sufjan Stevens, Get Well Soon, wow, i cant tell you it all, i have the worst memory. i will listen to anything if its done with heart..............oooooooh music is my duvet!
Hi my name is Wallis, im a 25 year old artist originally from Meath, Ireland, moved to Wexford where i grew up, then moved to Dublin for my party years and currently im living in the madness of Londinium! im a natural redhead but can't resist peroxide (but im still a redhead at heart!). i was whistling before i could speak, was singing before i could talk, was making up songs before i could write- but never could learn how to read or write music- and if it wasn't for music i wouldn't be here.....on myspace i mean!
The great thing about myspace is that sometimes you come across little jems like yourself. Wonderful music Walis, I'm sure great things are still to come. Gel
