'It Doesn't Matter Anyway' will blow you away, and the guitar riffs on 'Still Now and Then' are likely to embed themselves in your memory for some time.
But the band still displays plenty of diversity in their music, tracks such as 'Social Anxiety Attack' combines gritty vocals and lasting melodies, creating a unique, brilliant piece of material.
And just when you think rock 'n' roll is all The Magi have in their blood, 'Reckless Demise' slows down the tempo, a track that is sure to be an enduring anthem. Re:play Magazine
"Reckless Demise is a song that has been stripped to the bare bones then carefully built up to form an immense tune that I just love, not only for its quality but its originality too." Square Indie Magazine

Like all dreams it started in someone's heart and moved, intravenously, to their head. Once implanted between the cranium and the eyes it blossomed from a boom-boom heartbeat, into an idea, a vagary of thought, a vision of beauty laid out like the naked form.
This solitary head could never contain its dream and in the way of all organic things it spawned a compulsion to replicate and spread. One head became two, two became three, five followed four, and eventually there were six South Yorkshire heads banging together like ripe cherries, intent on drinking Stones Best Bitter and making good music.
Thus, The Magi were formed.
We want honesty.
We want dancing.
We want world-peace and love-making in the streets.
