WEARHOUSE MUSIC

For those that live and breathe house music- or better still wear house music on their sleeves- then Wearhouse Music is right up your alley!

The brain child of DJ and producer Lee Mortimer, Wearhouse Music started out as the main vehicle on which Lee released his ever growing catalogue of tracks.

Starting out on the humble Commodore Amiga before he was even a teenager, Lee has now firmly established himself as a top-notch recording artist and has had tracks and remixes on Dubsided, CR2, Front Room, Made To Play and, of course Wearhouse Music.

With plaudits from every corner of dance music such as Switch, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Kissy Sell Out and Crookers to name a few, Lee has built the label from scratch into the well renowned and highly respected imprint that it is today.

The catalogue is full of heavyweight names and debut artists alike including Foamo, HiJack, Jaimie Fanactic, Lars Moston, Andy George, Bass Weazal and Kelevra.

Ding Ding, Round 2! Wearhouse are at it again and giving you more goods and gems in the slender shape of Fresh Attire Vol. 2! Volume 1 was big, bad and heavy and this second journey is just soo damn good!

Bill Eff brings 2 nuggets of gold with ‘Baby Baby’ and ‘Chocolatey’ banging the bass and side shifting its way through the nasty’s of DJ sets…utter genius!

Bit Crushers (DJ Fame & Gaby Dershin) crush the Bits with a jiving bouncer called ‘Turn The Speakas Up’ this is simply beautiful funked up electronic at its finest...horns, hooves and hoovers at the ready!

Going back into the vaults and digging out the cherished moments of Kye Gibbons early outings is big thing for Wearhouse so the re rub duties have to be hot and bang on it! No worries there then as Dem Slackers blast into ‘Rockerman’ and Belgium’s finest GTRONIC slam the classic ‘Everything Cool’ into a new dimension. Massive sonics rip the tracks a new life and both Dem Slackers and GTRONIC deliver excellent dance floor moments for sure!

Big crunchy beats, clippy house snaps and deep rave references are all present and correct in this excellent EP.

4 tracks; 2 original, 2 remixes all giving you a perfect snapshot of how the weekend should be sound tracked. Beyond The Dancefloor in its original and both superb Bill Eff & Japan’s finest RAYFLASH mixes are on point and guaranteed to kick the bass bins to pieces. Vudu is a choppy number with sliced vocal stabs that groove this track right out. Slightly dark but builds, this is a future 6am anthem for sure!

WEAR019 Lars Moston & Philipe de Boyar "So Sick"

Heavy…

Emotional isn't a word we would usually use here to describe a Wearhouse release but in all fairness to Lars Moston and Philipe de Boyar they have delivered a slighty thought provoking banger! So Sick is still a dance floor smash and will rock your world and anyone your share it with but is coming in from the left side I guess.

With an instant nod to all things ’91 Moston and de Boyar has made a future classic for sure. It's big, it rocks like a mother but it has an edge of warmth and depth that will see this make loads of friends along its journey. A perfect end of night tune…ONE MORE!
