Chesterville, WA - Unless you live in a sound proof cave then you obviously heard about Kenny G's world record for the longest sustained note on a wind instrument. Frustrated fans who were unable to attend the event last year can now rest easy. Easy listening that is… Capitol Records has recently announced that Kenny G's record-breaking event will be released this summer on CD and DVD. The double CD/DVD will be entitled "Long Winded" and it'll contain the record-breaking note (in it's entirety), Kenny's 30 minute warm up session and breathing exercises, and numerous hidden tracks. If that's not enough, DVD owners will get the added bonus of having audio commentary by Kenny G.
When asked about the hidden tracks a record producer would only say, "This is not the first time Kenny G has placed hidden tracks on a CD. 1992's Breathless had a hidden track, but unfortunately very few listeners made it to the end of the CD. It's for this reason we decided to place secret tracks through-out the album… It might cause confusion with some listeners, but overall we think it will be an enjoyable experience that could really take off!"
Kenny G could not be reached for comment because he was washing his hair.

Five Ways to enjoy your friend's "Kenny G Christmas" CD
1) Take that Kenneth Gorelick Christmas album out of the player and use it as a coaster for your mojito...
2) Trade it in for a couple of bucks and buy a Coleman Hawkins CD...
3) Get that FEEL GOOD "I'm helping to save the world!" feeling and smile while you place it in a recycle bin.
4) Teach the kids DO NOT listen to this right after you teach them not to play with matches or pet stray pitbulls. Bad things will happen!
5) Use it as a circle template on blank white paper with crayons, Sharpies etc when the little ones come over and complain they have nothing to play with.

hate is such an ugly word.... just because i throw up a little every time i hear kenny g's thin, plastic, nauseating, flatulent, uninspired sound, doesn't mean i hate the guy. he's got great marketing. it's just too bad great marketing can sell such terrible crap.
