Wehrwolfe, the crushing NC metal outfit, called it quits in 2008. This page remains as a testament to the incredible musicianship and power that they had.
Bio:
Wehrwolfe: Wehr - from the german word for "Military" and Wolfe - "Wolf" being the creature that bases its life on working toward a cause as a group or "Brotherhood." This stands as our sigil to opposing forces. Combined, these words describe a powerful beast that instills dread in the hearts of our prey. Behold this unbridled ferocity!
Wehrwolfe was formed when Chuck, Scott, and Devon departed from Darkmoon in 2001. We then hired Nathan (now Daylight dies) for Lead vocals and began with all guns blazing! We found a label (Magick) that has been great to work with and released our debut cd, "Godless we stand". About a year after the sirens sounded, we added some new "Art-tillery" to our fold when we drafted Art Taylor, also a shredding guitarist that compliments both Chuck and our existing chaingun serenades. At the beginning of 2004 we had to drop the "N" bomb and Devon then had to take the role of vocalist as well as playing bass guitar.
In 2006, we had been searching for a new drummer to replace Scott who had moved back to his family in Ohio to take care of things there. With the help of some good friends we then found an amazing musician who fell into our flow nicely and added greatly to our arsenal, that being drummer extraordinaire Chris "Mordrid" Hathcock. With a full line-up again, we began playing shows again and focusing on gearing up to record new material which lead to the recording of an undistributed EP titled "Way of the Gun".
After years of playing, the band finally felt that there was nothing further to do as a unit. We bore no hard feelings and remained good friends. So the beast was finally laid to rest.

Hello all. We have finally got some songs up that we have redone as well as a few new ones. If you did not know we have let Joseph go. Now myself and Martin are doing vocals. We are pushing to be more brutal and dynamic all while keeping it a 3 piece band The recordings are very raw and were all recorded live with no editing nor mastering.
