It is not easy to be different. Having their own style and sound, makes them unique and recognizable. Their image and extraordinary sound of dark energetic techno with sharp electro minimal draws attention of many people. Weki (Wega and Kim Pixa) are the core persons of the Czech electronic scene since the nineties. Two djs who created something new and fresh - their original sound. Nowdays also with their new Weki member - singer Dkp.

After Weki first successful vinyl - Closer to me, which was supported by djs Sultan and Asad Rizvi and was sold out in one month, next releases just followed on labels like Beef Records, Tribal Vision Records, Catwalk, Plusquam Rec. and more. Some tracks were placed in many radio top ten charts. WeKi got on board on Australia label Beef records. They did there two succesfull remixes for Deepchild (get physical) and couple of EPs. Later they have released an EP called Golem with remix from Oliver Klein, Peter Jürgens and James Harcourt on Tribal Vision Records. Because of big interest of other records after this, Weki created their own record label La Pascos to stay independent and free to place their productions there. In 2010 they will release their first album Evil Kiss on La Pascos Records.

They are also residents and promoters of many clubs – the most known czech club Roxy (resident party ELEKTRA), Bukanyr houseboat (resident La Pascos Dream), Club Amsterdam, L.Enfer Rouge, Matrix, Mecca, Abaton, Palác Akropolis and many others. They also played all around the world (e.g. Turkey, South America, Germany, France... ). They are regulary featuring on a huge electronic festivals such as Cosmic Trip, Love Planet, Rock for People, Semtex Culture, Sazava Fest 07,09, Cary and Summer of love 06,07,08, which they did an anthem for – Open your mind. Another track of their - Find a Friend was choosen by O2 Telefónica Dance Music Awards as an oficial O2 anthem.

WeKi Djs played beside djs/projects such as M.A.N.D.Y., dj Hell, Chris Liebing, Ellen Allien and Apparat, Vitalic, Christian Smith, Stereo Mc..s, dj Rush, Scan X, Chris Cowie, Northern Lite, Audiobullys, Deepchild, The Potbelleez, Nathan Fake, Afrika Islam, Nathan Coles, Richard Bartz, Justin Robertson, Czech, Oliver Koletzki, Electric Indigo, Asad Rizvi, James Harcourt, Jimmy van M, Sean Cusick, Fidelity Kastrow, Rif Raf, Jonty Scrufff, Michael Burian, Schwa,, Matt Hardwick, Zero Cash and many more.

About WeKi new album and touring 2009:

WeKi are happy to announce WeKi Tour 2009. WeKi live show is stronger then ever and now includes talented singer DKP. Guys have been very busy in the studio. This resulted that the new WeKi album called Evil Kiss was born, combining specific WeKi sound with characteristic and extraordinary singing. First sampler of this album is out, the Golem EP, featuring remixes by Oliver Klein, Peter Jurgens and James Harcourt.
