WUVT-FM is an FCC-licensed, non-commercial, student-run radio station broadcasting at 90.7 MHz from the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. Organized in the fall of 1947, WUVT is one of the oldest college radio stations in the United States. At 3,500 watts, it's also one of the highest-powered, enabling it to reach the neighboring communities of Montgomery County, Christiansburg, Radford, Floyd, Giles, Salem, Pulaski, and Wytheville. WUVT is non-profit and owned by the Educational Media Company at Virginia Tech (EMCVT). Please do not send inquiries regarding station operations to the Myspace account.
