Anything and everything that has to do with either Massillon or Athens Ohio, both places are completely screwed in their own way, but still have that ounce of dignity that most lame small towns cease to have. Aside from that, personal friendships and relationships, growing up, family problems, the "scenester" mentality, walking at night and thinking about too many things, and a whole lot of cynical twist. There are many more, but these should cover a good junk of the influences.
Hi, I'm Mike and I'm a musician going to school in Athens Ohio.
I've been playing music as Arthur Killroad since late 2005.
If you would like to book me: Mikekillroad@gmail.com
ARTHUR KILLROAD DIGITAL ONLINE DONATION BASED STORE
Here you can dowload both the EP and the Album at a donation based price. The package includes:
-Mp3 Formats of the EP/album
-Word document containing lyrics and credits
-Explanation of songs and recording process (EP only)
-Album Art
PLEASE DONATE! In a world where everyone gets their music for free anymore, I am struggling to make any compensation for my music. I've spent many hours on these projects and even a small donation ($1-$5) helps me recoup the money I've invested and it also helps finance more music to come!
"Some of the songs on the album [EP] are about the relationship he has with his hometown of Massillon, politics within the music scene and trying to get over love and loss. Petruccelli is a very honest songwriter, weaving personal accounts with more abstract, poetic musings. Over top the mellow sound of his acoustic, Arthur Killroad has an intimate feel while still remaining lively with punk influence." -Aaron Krumheuer, The Post

The Things you Should Know How to Do. was released in 2008 and features 10 (well, 11 including the bonus track) songs that are all AK originals. The range of topics cover life, relationships, and questioning the greater aspects of life.
Arthur Killroad Patches are made from the finest materials that Wal-Mart fabric and spray paint have to offer. They are very cheap and I usually just give them out for free. All of the styles I have are included the photo.
Arthur Killroad Pins are DIY made and feature the eloquent AK logo on a black background (THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFUL LEFT!). They are 1/4 inch pins that go very well with your sidebag, purse, and thrift store purchased t-shirt. However, they don't make you look any cooler than you think you are.
Hey, could you put this in your profile? I'd really appreciate it and it would help me out!
Here's what some people think of my music:
Though the truth is that just like our bipolar moments of mania and displeasure, we are sometimes caught in an unflattering light. Rather than tactically avoid looking contrived, Killroad seeks to make the telling of mundane moments his anchor. He criticizes the motifs and worn tropes of classic romanticism instead favoring the tactile objects of relationships—gifts, guitars, and shaving blades—trinkets of those quick moments between the archetypical peaks and valleys, unions and break ups. Known as Mike Petruccelli to his mother, Arthur Killroad is extraordinarily adept addressing these experiences. -Fredrick Foxtrott
"Well, it's great, I like it and it's good to see that the best music is still played under the radar of mainstream music." -Sven Hardner, Germany
"...the way Killroad describes the early twenties mentality is dead on, in terms of relationships, family, and college life." - Kelly Kettering, The Post
"The album was a lot better than I expected." -Alisha Bicknell
"The demos on the new EP has left me awestruck in amazingness." -Jarrod Denson
"I woke up this morning and had Harvard on the Hocking stuck in my head, it was a good day indeed." - Lauren Salandra
"AK is the coffee to my cup. The music gets me going in the morning, and any other time I need to get going." - Heather jamison
"AK makes me feel buttery warm on the inside, which might be the reason I don't like popcorn anymore." - Aimee Klingelsmith
so that was pointless, but if i could clap like that i would clap like that for you cause i really really really really appreciate and enjoy your music-gotta love relatable, amazing-sounding folk punk :) i hope i can make it to one of your shows sometime. have an awesome day! -natasha
