Socially active music and graphic artist from Riga.
Ex-member of Latvian superbands Yaputhma Sound System and Pasaki Onkuliem Ata. Since 1996 involved in electronic music scene. Production range varies from tracks, remixes, soundtracks for movies and theatre to experiments with acoustic and 8-bit, lo-fi genres.
As a Dj, Dmitry describe his style as “elegant minimal, sexy electro and beautiful melodies”. Since summer 2007 he is running FuckForFriendship.com artist’s community and Space:Garage club, which quickly became a cult place in Riga and gained a good reputation in Europe.
A lot of internationally known artists are coming here to play (Pan/Tone, Smash TV, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, P.Toile, Dave Dk, Dj Koze etc.).
As a graphic designer he is making illustrations for a number of magazines and designing nice things for a good people (Holger’s Zilske record From Birds And Bees with Dmitry’s artwork just came out on Playhouse records, Germany).
