Allison Barkley grew up in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, just a few doors from the Stratford Shakespearean Festival, where she spent many imaginative days. In her early twenties she migrated west to Victoria, British Columbia, where she resided for a few years before packing and moving up north to the Yukon. She lived there as a pioneer woman and taught art classes at an elementary school, on reserve, in Lower Post, BC. After a few years in the Yukon, she travelled Canada for about a year, before slowly making her way back west.

Hi Allison, congratulations on your ep. It's ironic but Canadian that I live about 40 miles from Parliament Hill and I can't see your videos or hear your music very well. I've been told the problem is usually between the keyboard and the screen. We'll be upgrading the connection soon I hope. Thanks for taking the time to read and write. A friend in Vancouver says they don't get rain like they used to. That would make it really attractive if it wasn't so expensive. Have a good summer. steve
the winds whispered last night , listen and then a rush of wind with rains lightly then thunderously over head, listen for there came replenishing, renewing, nurishment, o holy night,
Allison: An interesting life you live, sort of what I would call half way between. Your upcoming Album intrigues me as to what the songs will say and how you sing them. Theres no doubt that you have what it takes to put them across, as the presence of being/living halfway between will lend both sides a chance to speak and then lastly Allison herself will lend the truth to the story . I'll be listening for your Release,, until then,,,,, STAY IN TUNE R.C.
