Russell	Aug 25 2008 1:25 AM I was just listening to A World Depraved....I know no one from the band will see this, but I have both CDs, actual copies, as hard to find as they were, and it just reminded me that, as a wise poet once penned, "Nothing gold can stay." It is a real tragedy that Amaran had to disband; as can be clearly seen from the comments on this page, they are sorely missed by at least a dedicated few... mainstream radio and MTV would never have played them, but that's because they were simply too unique. In the end, at least, we still have what they set out to give us... great, original and powerful heavy music. Dream on, Russell
