General
i think that in the cycle of oppression its the oppressor that is the most oppressed. the oppressed have little or nothing to lose. the oppressed are able to see the problems with the cycle of oppression. its because of this that i think its the duty of the oppressed to liberate their oppressors. their weak, self-hating, wretched, lonely, loveless, thoughtless, shriveling, boring, oppressors.
its the oppressors lack of recognition of other's humanity that dehumanizes themselves, and love , and music, and poetry, and the oppressed can save them. they can hold up a mirror to the "owners" of the world, they can outdo the establishment --making it obsolete.

anti-oppression art (lincoln gallery is located on the 2nd floor 14th and o)
The main goal of anti-oppression art is to defy oppression via the arts, and redefine the words like art, artist, art gallery, human, capable, education.
A long term goal would be to start art studio/galleries in all the poorest places, so Anti O artists can sell art via the internet to people who appreciate this liberating art. And that these galleries be environments conducive toward indigenous culture cultivating itself in the interest of improving the lives of its community. We want to contribute however possible, from the art of digging a well to the art of painting a car to the art of feeding the hungry.
Anti-oppression art in -Lincoln has live music performances, art/music lessons, jam sessions, socratic critical consciousness sessions, food/clothing drives. We are always looking for new artists to sponsor or be involved.

Your finished pieces are terrific but I'm drawn to your sketches most recently. They seem (in my mind) to represent your vibrant thought on a particular subject that you were able to immortalize it! That's so gold, dude!
