Hola! Mi nombre es Benjamin Lechuga, soy guitarrista/compositor Chileno. Comencé a tocar guitarra eléctrica a la edad de 10 años. En el 2003 me uní a la banda DELTA y grabamos nuestro primer CD "Apollyon is Free". El 2005 fue un año muy activo en mi carrera, teniendo importantes conciertos como abrir el show de de la banda Finlandesa "Stratovarius" y ganar el cncurso "Ibanez Project" junto a Fabián Aravalés me hizo probablemente el auspiciado más jovén que Ibanez haya tenido en el mundo. Con todas esas buenas vibras, el 2006 comenzamos a grabar "Black & Cold". disco que es distribuido en USA & CANADA por Nightmare Records (www.nightmarerecords.com) Nuestro nuevo disco llamado "CRASHBREAKER" acaba de ser lanzamdo junto a nuestra primera producción en vivo en formato DVD "Live at The Beginning" en Octubre 08. Delta ha sido una verdadera familia para mi. He pasado excelentes experiencias con ellos, como telonear a bandas como DREAM THEATER, SYMPHONY X , STRATOVARIUS, EDGUY, VISION DIVINE, THE DOORS o jugar playstation. También fui auspiciado por las cuerdas Argentinas "Magma Strings" pero ya finiquité mi contrato.
Durante estos años junto a Delta he estado componiendo material solista el cual ya empecé a grabar para un futuro disco. Soy mi propio productor, compositor, intérprete y también estoy a cargo de todas las mezclas y grabaciones! Ha sido muy divertido, pero agotador a la vez! Es muchísimo trabajo.
Tambien uso y soy endorser de "DARKGLASS FX" (http://darkglassfx.blogspot.com/)Me construyó un Rebote Delay especialmente para mi y es increíble!
Acabo de pasar a 3er año en la carrera de "Composición y Arreglos instrumentales" en la Escuela Moderna de Música en Santiago, Chile.

Hi! My name is Benjamin Lechuga, and I'm a Chilean guitar player/composer. I Started playing the electric guitar around the age of 10. In 2003 I was asked to join the band "Delta" and we recorded our first CD "Apollyon is free" together. 2005 was a very active year, having important gigs such us opening a show for Stratovarius and winning the "Ibanez Project" contest with my friend Fabian Aravales made us the first under-18 Ibanez endorsers in Chile, and probably, worldwide. With all of this good vibes, on early 2006 we started recording a new Delta CD called "Black & Cold" which is available in USA & CANADA via Nightmare Records (www.nightmarerecords.com). Our new album "CRASHBREAKER" has just been realesed in October '08 together with our first Live DVD "Live at the Beginning." Delta has been a real family for me. We have done lots of cool things together, like opening for bands as DREAM THEATER, SYMPHONY X , STRATOVARIUS, VISION DIVINE, EDGUY, THE DOORS and playing Play Station!
Last year I was also endorsed by "Magma Strings." But I ended my contract last September.
During this last years with Delta I have been writing solo material which I am recording at the moment! A few tracks are almost done, while I have a lot of work to do on other ones. I am my own producer, composer, arranger, guitar player and "sound engineer". It has been real fun, but exhausting! Real hard working!
I also proudly use and endorse "Darkglass FX" (http://darkglassfx.blogspot.com/) He did a totally customized Rebote Delay for me and it RULES.
Today I study Composition & Instrumental Arrangements in the "Escuela Moderna de Musica" Here in Santiago, Chile.
