Isaac The Chemicular, prophet of the Motherchild, has been sent to inform you that the species of Malus domestica generally known as "Golden Delicious" are most commonly a bright yellow hue. Not light green.
I have also discovered in my studies of Earth that this very popular cultivar is a chance seedling possibly from the breeds Grimes Golden and Golden Reinette. It was first called "Mullin's Yellow Seedling" when propagation rights were sold to Stark Brothers Nursuries who first marketed the fruit as a companion of their Red delicious in 1914 in Clay County, West Virginia.
Golden Delicious are sweeter than the green fruit called "Granny Smith" and are enjoyed as a favourite for salads, apple sauce, and apple butter.
But what is "apple butter?" Isaac The Chemicular does not compute this term.
Wow. You've got it. People want it. I'd love to see you play live. I've listened to your songs on repeat the last hour or so, feeling them out and I can hear sooo much more than actually comes out through the speakers sometimes. I've listened to "Anyone" so many times since yesterday, can I show it off to people??? hahaha. Loving it. Keep it goin' girl.
I will let you know which song I dig the best! I would love to buy you a plane ticket out here! But I have -dollars... It's the curse of being a musician and spending all your time and money on your career... But, hopefully someday I can come out to Canada and play you the song I wrote about you...
Don't worry about playing the show you are gonna ROCK it!! I have faith in you! All you need to do is practice a lot and know exactly what you doing so you don't have to worry about anything other than getting your nerves under control. That's what I do before big shows...
As far as the Record about Carly... I am working on it wrote my first song for it called Carly's gotta coffee shop... AHAHA
I was gonna do it but I backed out, because they were gonna book me at a club where i could play any day of the frickin week mang! No thanks and they wanted my money F-that! Anwwho, how's life? How is songwriting and all those wonderful things? Have you written a song about me yet?
I went and checked it all out and just went ahead and submitted. ALthough it looks sort of like a scam. But, whatever. I will give it a shot. Thanks for the tip! How are things?
As far as learning theory on your own that might be a task for you to see a teacher or take a basic principals class. I wan not self taught so I couldn't really help you in that dept. What I can do is help you with any sort of musical question you have on either the guitar or piano. But, the bottem line is, I think you should take an introductory theory/musicianship class to get your feet wet. If you have any sort of basic skillz then you will be fine.
All my best,
Keith
Songwriting has been good to me these last couple years with the help of some break-ups and misfortunate events. As for education, I went to school for music in Santa Barbara for 2 years and learned a ton of stuff. I have been playing since I was ten and I was some what naturally gifted... But, that is all it really takes an education isn't neccesarily needed unless you feel like you are in a hole where you having bad writer's block or something. Don't get me wrong the more you know the better but it isn't the only way to play music.
I would love to come play in Canada sometime. It would be great to meet you and to play in a foriegn country for the first time!
To answer your question I have been writing and performing songs for five years and playing guitar since I was 10. How about you?
I really dig your voice! Did you do all these recording on your own? They sound good for what they are. Good luck to you and your music career. What part of Canada are you from?
