Finally, an update in bio form! Carcharoth is predominantly a solo project of Chris Doig (although live band rehearsals are underway). It is an attempt to create a fusion of brutality and melody in black/death metal. Some songs are catchy and direct, others are more progressive. It is a fusion of what I hear and what I want to hear. Chris Doig has brought Carcharoth a long way from the humble beginnings of the first demo, 'The Raven's Cry'. Since then, it has been re-recorded in a highly superior form, which may see the light of release at some point. The original demo is available for download, link below. Secondly, an EP called 'The Long Forgotten Path' is being recorded and mixed currently. Finally, the album 'From The Cavern Come' is one step away from completion and two steps away from release, which should happen this month. More (very exciting!) details will be released at the time of release.

Kindly refrain from posting any comments that contain anythign along the lines of 'Infernal Hailz', 'Satanic Greetings', 'The NecroGrimGoatLord Thanks Thee For The Add' or anything pathetic like that. Infernal comments will be deleted, and not regarded. Just because I play a kind of music called 'Black Metal' does not mean that I have any respect for those who believe in Satan. Fuck the fuck off, you hypocritical, pathetic, miserable beings.

Carcharoth is currently rehearsing as a four piece live band. With original member Chris Doig handling guitar and vocals, longtime friend Rahul Victor on drums, and Whitestar Sunrise guitarist Callum Woodro on guitars, and fellow Whitestar Sunrise vocalist, Luke Frizon, handling bass and backing vocals. When we feel capable of playing gigs, we will. But for now, we rehearse!
