About me:
MySpace Layouts
Hello. I'm Chris Cox, and I'm a mind-reader who can't read minds. I will be my 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival on tour throughout the UK. I'm far too modest to say how good I am, so I'll let these people tell you.

Ricky Gervais says "He's brilliant, he'll blow your mind."
The Guardian say I'm "One of the most exciting entertainers in Britain."
Time Out say that I do "tricks that would make Jesus proud. Very Funny"
According to The Stage I have 'masterful skill and technique - MUST SEE.'
The Times think I'm a Top 5 Comedy Pick and 'A reminder that Derren Brown isn't the only mentalist on the block'
But wait.. there's more.

'You're amazing, will you marry me?' Dannii Minogue
'A show that'll change the way you think about your life. A mesmorising performance' * * * * The Edinburgh Evening News
'Get a ticket fast before they're all gone. Pure Magic' * * * * * Broadway Baby
'Unlike Derren Brown, Chris is refreshingly nonchalant. This is a fun show, and I guarantee Chris' final trick will leave you awe struck and speechless' * * * * Three Weeks
'Commands his stage like an old hand...Very Impressive' - The Glasgow Herald
'You'll laugh your head off while still being blown away, He has taken his mind magic to new levels.' Metro Newspaper
'The new Derren Brown.' Nuts
'Essential - Don't Even Think About Missing: Chris Cox - the non mind reading mind reader.' Venue Magazine
'I bet he gets well narked with the comparison (to Derren Brown), but that should be all the more flattering for Chris. Derren Brown clearly has some serious competition. Chris is hugely talented, a fine and funny entertainer and definitely one to watch out for. Everything happens for a reason is a mesmerising hour long journey. a masterly show, deftly executed with charm, modesty, and self-effacement. Chris Cox is absolutely fantastic. Just watch out for low flying ferrets.' - NotBBC.Com
'Truly a master of his art. Thoroughly engrossing and quite, quite gobsmacking' * * * * One4Review.Com
'Entertaining and thought-provoking, do your best to grab a ticket.' * * * * Hairline.Org

My new show is Chris Cox: Control Freak .. here are the details
Phil McIntyre Entertainments in arrangement with Karushi Management presents Chris Cox: Control Freak
You think you have free will? You think you can decide what you choose? You think fate can't be changed? You need to think again! 24 year old Chris Cox will change the way you think! After selling out his entire run and winning the Zebra Award at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival - the mind reader who can't read minds is back reading minds with a new 18 date UK tour entitled 'Control Freak' which kick's off in Crawley on the 5th October.
'Control Freak' focuses on our ability to control those around us, through a mix of magic, psychology, neuro-linguistics programming, reading body language, subliminal messaging, influencing, devilish good looks and lying. It combines his award winning show 'Everything Happens For A Reason', with this years highly acclaimed sell out Edinburgh Fringe show 'Control Freak' in funny, entertaining, jaw-dropping and cutting edge fashion leaving you laughing, thinking and rubbing your chin in a slightly curious fashion.
Chris looks at how fate and chance are mysteries of the universe, but he's worked out that there are rules to the universe, and if you learn those rules you can control the universe. As such he'll be attempting to control the universe, (as long as the universe is an un-biased selection of people in a theatre watching him and thinking he's great!)
By removing the audience's free will and controlling them without them knowing it, he attempts to prove that he can make it look like he can read their minds! Chris will be looking at the 'what if' moments in life, seeing if everything happens for a reason and trying to work out how all those little things about our lives add up to turn us into the person we are. It all comes together in a stunning finale that proves Chris has been in control throughout and will leave the audience in no-doubt that he is as much of a geek as he is a control freak.
With celebrity fans including Ricky Gervais, Dannii Minogue and Kelly Osbourne, ‘Control Freak’ is a show not to be missed! Audience participation is crucial!!!
THE CRITICS:
"Hugely entertaining' THE OBSERVER
"One of the most exciting entertainers in Britain" THE GUARDIAN

"Commands his stage like an old hand... very impressive" HERALD
"Must See' THE STAGE

Hi !

I’m just sending a little message around as we have a question and we want to ask our friends for input.

We cannot decide whether to release the Album in late May or June. We plan to tour from mid May and the argument is that if we release in June we can tie the release into the fan build from the tour, but it might get squashed with all the Summer and festival releases, however, if we release in May it might have less competition but we won’t have the tour working yet to promote it.

What do you think? I’d love to hear your opinion on this.

Hi Chris!

It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we said hello.

We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.

I’d love to know what you’ve been up to since we disappeared into the dark damp studio cave, let us know how it’s going, I’m always up for a chat!

Hey!

As a friend of Killaflaw we'd like to give you the opportunity of purchasing our uniquely numbered, limited edition CD single 'Revolution' which also includes the much loved 'Holy Fuck' on the B side.

There are only 1000 copies in existence and further copies will be sold without these unique numbers, so here is your chance to own a piece of music history from the LIPA award winning band dubbed by Eddy dance/rock guru Temple-Morris "the missing link between Soundgarden and The Prodigy"

The record is of course also available to buy as MP3 download.

To get your copy go to the following link:

www. cdbaby. com/killaflaw

Thanks again for supporting Killaflaw and we really hope you enjoy.

May 25 2008 10:58 AM

True.
But the magic and mind reading stuff is really clever :)I'll have to get people who go to your show in Edinburgh to tell me all about how great it is! Are you looking forward to it? What's in your show? xx
Georgie

May 25 2008 10:28 AM

That would be awesome :) I'm in Tassie, but I'd try and get there! I've never seen a comedian live before...They all bypass Tassie :P
Georgie

May 25 2008 2:25 AM

Hey Chris!

May 23 2008 1:50 PM

Oh god, I know that feeling. I did all of Tim's yesterday. I began to lose the will to live half way through!
You should at least be able to mark if you're touring and then it lets you put in more than one at a time. It would totally take a load of the hassle out of it.

May 22 2008 5:41 AM

Oh yes :P
Very nicely done haha.
SO tell me, whyyy should one go and see your show then ?
How very rude.. didn't ask me how i was ;)

Hello, really loving the, umm, would you call it an act? I mean, there's a set routine in a way, getting them to go wow you're amazing etc, but there's no flashy hand actions or anything.

Either way....
