Born at national historic site Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base Oceanside August 26;(Raised in middle-class PICO RIVERA East LOS ANGELES).
Father Dan Evan Hauskins(Chief Petty Officer CMM US Navy(USS JOHN FRANCIS BURNES 1925-1930) World War I & II Born 1900/Died 1976);bought DALE his first(Sears Silvertone)guitar and amp at age 8 hearing the sounds of John Coltrane,Chet Atkins,Ink Spots,Herb Albert,Mills Brothers;Motown and much more from his father's record player.
Initially,DALE learned to play by ear.
As a teenager,DALE played in many local LOS ANGELES bands along with childhood friend guitarist RUSTY ANDERSON(Guitarist for Sir Paul McCartney in 2003-09.).
After graduating at EL RANCHO High School in Pico Rivera,California.
Dale packed his Gibson L6S guitar,Marshall,Echoplex and moved to London,England with its burgeoning prog/fusion scene.
At 19,Dale haunted jam sessions at London's Rod Argent’s famed keyboard shop,playing in England two years and had struck up a friendship with PETER GABRIEL while building his Real World studios in Bath,England.Playing in many different English progressive rock,fusion,jazz-rock,space-rock bands.
Age 23 earned a Associate in Arts degree & studied 3 1/2 years harmony-Composition-Arrangement-Orchestration with composer,pianist-organist Dr.Williametta Spencer,(Professor of Music,WHITTIER COLLEGE);at RIO HONDO COLLEGE,Whittier,Ca..
Soon getting a call from LUZERN,SWITZERLAND to join a established signed & touring SWISS PROGRESSIVE ROCK band FLAME DREAM(Vertigo Phonogram AG).
Joining in 1985 to the 1990's Trinidad's master steel panist Einstein Brown's hardworking band SAPADILLA,(replacing New York's late great ERIC GALE).
Dale pursued his passion for playing live shows and recording in the studio
working with SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA's crème de la crème's REGGAE & HIPHOP musician community;and with the true creative forces and founders of REGGAE music.
A humble down to earth,accentuating the POSITIVE,ambitious,creative;OPEN MINDED guitarist-Musician.Expressive soloing & chords with sheer passionate involvements with which he aproaches REGGAE,ROCK,JAZZ,HIP HOP,House Music,FOLK,Funk & SLIDE ACOUSTIC + ELECTRIC GUITAR.

Majek Fashek,a Nigerian reggae musician.Majek has been called a prophet and a poet,and has become one of Africa's greatest singers and musicians with his powerful world beat sound.
Majek’s core influences is of Bob Marley,Peter Tosh,Fela Anikulapo Kuti and Jimi Hendrix. He seamlessly meshes roots,rock,reggae and Afrobeat into a unique signature sound called "Kpangolo".Majek describes it as “the sound of many cultures coming together.”
His debut solo album Prisoner Of Conscience,released in 1988,sold more than 200,000 copies in Nigeria alone.It was followed by "Spirit of Love" a year later, produced by the inestimable Little Steven.The Best of Majek Fashek was released in the UK in 1994,incorporating much of Majek’s classic African material,and in 1997 Rainmaker was released on Tuff Gong International.
Majek had a close relationship with the legendary late Nigerian musician and bandleader Fela Kuti.
