-ABOUT NYC-based Daniel H. Cho is one of the most sought-after session/tour musicians (keys & cello) in today's music who has worked with artists such as Coldplay, Regina Spektor and John Mayer in the past. The uniquely rich tone and melodic lines he produces, and the ability to play in all genres well (which is uncommon for classical instrumentalists) makes him a rare gem, and put him in constant demand.
"Playing technical and impressive things is all good, but not enough people know the importance of knowing when to play and when NOT to play." says Daniel. The Berklee College of Music graduate also strongly believes in being open-minded and flexible when on the road or stuck in a stuffy recording studio for 18 hours straight. Oh, and showering.
When not performing, he works as a composer, (award-winning) songwriter, producer, string/symphony arranger, and is a member of the much-talked-about rock band Cooper, which was featured on MTV's The Hills numerous times this season.
The Craic Festival 2009 has invited FairplayCollective to play at this years Festival. All members will be playing in the round. The show is at The Mercury Lounge, March 14th at 8pm. This is the last night of the festival and Foy Vance is also on the bill.
What more can I say, a great night for music and film, with the odd star thrown in. Come show your support.
it's quite difficult to share the good word when you don't allow users to add your music to our page (and my two mac's usually refuse to play your songs even)?
that show you did with ms. round some weeks ago had a few of us overwhelmed, with tears and everything. thank you for that unexpected sweetness.
