Dave has been writing and recording music since 1976. He has a writer's catalog that includes over 320 songs and has worked with such notable artists as Freddie Salem from the Outlaws and later The Godz, vocalist/performer Marcc Nutter whos accomplishments include performing at The White House and touring with Randy Travis, Jack Trowbridge from A&M recording artists Color Me Gone, Steve Sanders from The Lime, Martyn Flunoy from the Bizarros, and Tim DeArmitt who recently has been playing guitar for
Blake Shelton and wrote one of the songs on Blake's last album and played guitar on the album as well. Dave also has worked with producer Bruce Hensal whose production credits include Joe Walsh, Boston, Quincy Jones, The Eagles, Stephen Stills, Michael Stanley, Bob Marley, and many others. Dave has written with David Newcomb for many years and has recorded over 150 songs together. He has performed in many bands. Some of which are Luxus, The Kil Kooly Band, Dr. Loveless, and David Marko & The Trade. Dave also wrote, performed, and produced a country music album in 2003 called "Human" which featured the song "You Get UP" which is a tribute to the Que Creek mining disaster and the miraculous recovery of the trapped miners. Other production credits include the award winning "Stick Man" performed by Mr. Lee Graber and a number of gospel music albums (including three James Marko albums). In 2008 Dave wrote, produced, and performed the tracks on his solo album "Rattlesnake Road". Dave's current musical project is "Blunt Force Trauma". BFT is a writing, performing, and producing collaboration with the very talented Doug Lebo. The new BFT album, "Weight of the World", can be heard on this myspace page.
