"Worship is an act of daily surrender, not just part of a Sunday morning routine," professes David Odom to his home church as he leads them at the morning service. David views life as an opportunity to surrender each and every day to the King of Kings, and this perspective is never more contagious than when he�s leading a group to sing one of his original songs like "I Surrender." David began his musical journey with piano lessons at the age of ten, and continued later on with guitar lessons from dad. Though he knew the Lord had blessed him with musical talent, he felt called at the age of 15 to step out and start leading others in worship. Right after high school, David began traveling with Joel Engle (SPIN President and Christian recording artist) to all kinds of camps, churches, and conferences around the United States. While attending college classes during the week and traveling all over the nation on weekends, David was taught by Joel about music, worship leading, and ultimately the character of a true worshiper. David learned to not just entertain or lead songs, but to motivate people to run to the throne of Christ. Along with finishing his degree, David currently serves as the interim music minister at Brookwood Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He is driven in every opportunity by a passion see people surrender to the Life and Lordship of Jesus Christ.
