DAVIE ALLAN IS THE BOSS HOG,INDEED THE KING OF FUZZ GUITAR!THE ARROWS STARTED OUT OUT LIFE AS A SURF INSTRUMENTAL BAND,KNOCKING OUT SURF OBSCURITIES SUCH AS COMANCHE AND COVERING APACHE 65.THEY WERE AN EXTREMELY POPULAR SURF BAND,BUT THIS WOULDNT LAST,AS THE KILLER FUZZ REARED ITS UGLY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!THE TRANSFORMATION FROM CLEAN CUT SURF BAND TO GNARLY MEAN BIKER FUZZ BAND HAPPENED ALMOST OVER NIGHT.THIS WAS MARKED WITH THE LAND MARK INSTRUMENTAL BLUES THEME.THIS SONG WAS RECORDED AS PART OF THE ARROWS SOUNDTRACK FOR THE RODGER CORMAN BIKER EXPLOITATION FILM,THE WILD ANGELS(STARING PETER FONDA,GO RENT IT OUT AND GET YOUR KICKS!!!!!!!!).THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL INTO FUZZ,PSYCHEDELIA,GARAGE AND DAVIES OWN INTERPRETATION OF SURF CONTINUED TO SNARL THROUGH MOST OF THE 6O'S FLOWER POWER!!!!!!HE RECORDED OTHER BIKER SOUNDTRACKS SUCH AS THE DEVILS ANGELS,GLORY STOMPERS AND THE BORN LOSERS.ASWELL AS THESE HE RECORDED SUCH ALBUMS AS BLUES THEME AND THE LANDMARK FUZZ SOAKED PSYCHEDELIC DEATH TRIP THAT WAS CYCLE-DELIC SOUNDS!!!!!!!

Davie, "Buzz Saw Effect" is yet another fuzz masterpiece! I turned a guy on to your music in Philadelphia who was not familiar with any guitar instrumental groups of the day. He has since become a fanatic of your sound and is constantly picking my brain and asking if I have any other material by you. This seems to be what happens to anyone who suddenly discovers your music. You and the Arrows were the Black Sabbath of your time! P.S. , just found "The Wild Racers" great song writing!
