California has been hit hard by wave after wave of economic doom and gloom. Our jobless rate is in the double digits, and there are few positive signs. Of course, much of the economic crisis here is due to the housing foreclosure mess.

<br />The Legislature has been fighting for quite a while now to create solutions to California's housing crisis, and many legislators have put a lot of labor and political capital into the effort. But Assembly member Ted Lieu has been the face of this fight. His legislative package has put moratoriums on foreclosures, pushed banks to work with homeowners, and other innovative strategies to combat the crisis.

<br />We are very excited that Asm. Lieu will be stopping by Calitics on Tuesday moring at 11:30 to talk about some of the issues he is dealing with now, and to address your questions. He'll be taking as many questions as he can, but be sure to get yours in as soon as possible. If you can't make it on Tuesday, you can drop your question off with us now:
