The musical style of Deep Root Sound System varies from dub and reggae to the rhythms of trip hop and jungle. They play electronic, rhythmic music influenced by Jamaican roots-music and dub.
Deep Root Soundsystem took its first steps in October 2001. Deep Root SoundSystem has done a steady career of live performances during the years. In their music the band combines the skills of several professional musicians. The core of the band is a line-up of seven musicians, which can be modified to fit the occasion. The band can take the stage with a small and intimate group or a bigger band with ten musicians.
DRS releases include 1 EP / 2005 - HP single / 2006 / Rawfish Records UK / S.A single 2006 /. The DRS Album is currently under production and will be released early 2008. The new single will be introduced to public in November 2007.
