Ryan is a classically trained musician but has always had a love of electronic music, in particular trance. Ryan was slowly introduced to electronic music through the sounds of Chemical Brothers, Prodigy and Orbital with snippets of similar sounds in a developing South Africa. However, it was Paul van Dyk's sound that truly captured him. Ryan has distanced himself from the ‘fluffy’ trance sound of the late 90’s, and have expanded sets to include more tech, house, electro, harder dance and progressive trance sounds.
Ryan has played alongside top trance and hard dance DJ's like Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Scott Bond, Marc Van Linden, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Eddie Halliwell, Ronald Van Gelderen, Super8 & DJ Tab, Andy Moor, Mike Koglin, Richard Durand, Proteus, Adam Lab4, Andy Farley, Lisa Pin-Up, Nick Sentience, Vinylgroover, Phil Reynolds, Paul Glazby, Orkidea, Will Holland, Fred Baker, Marcel Woods, Adam Sheridan, Simon Patterson, Gavyn Mytchel and Signalrunners to name but a few.
Residency:
Ryan is a resident DJ for an online underground radio station which he started with one of my brothers featuring upfront DJ mixes from all genres.
