   About Dragon Daughter
Dragon Daughter is a San Francisco-based, all-woman, queer alternative rock band. We mix solid beats with melodic bass lines, luring harmonies, and indelible lyrics to create our own unique style. Our name is inspired by the Devadatta chapter of the Lotus Sutra, in which the Dragon King's daughter attains buddhahood, in spite of belief that women could not reach enlightenment.
