   Drinks & Mortar's Blurbs
About me:
Drinks & Mortar is a monthly night of drinking and conversation about architecture, civics, local politics, and city life. Everyone is welcome.

We usually meet on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7pm. We rotate venues in order to explore different corners of the city, so check this page for location info each month.

Drinks & Mortar will gather this evening, Thursday September 24, at 7pm, at Mandina's (1319 St. Louis Avenue, 1/2 block east of Crown Candy). Come talk about last night's "public" TIF hearing, what happens now, city life, etc. All are welcome.

And of course, since it's on the North Side, Mandina's has reasonable prices!

yours, Claire Nowak-Boyd

Who I'd like to meet:
Activists, architects, preservationists, planners, students, professors, shit disturbers, street photographers, urbanists, suburbanists, bloggers, boosters, urban explorers, politicians, developers, artists, YOU.

Questions, complaints, bar suggestions, and so forth should be directed to the organizer, Claire Nowak-Boyd, at clairelovesthecity {at} gmail.com

Stare at the spinning egg chair and you will become hypnotized. Then you will give me all of your furniture!

D'oh, Claire, I need to stop scheduling my spins the same night as Drinks & Mortar.
Is D&M, as I fear, set for the last Thursday night of every month?
