Before establishing himself as a solo artist, Evan started out as a member
of John Peel favourites "Pariah" and "The Sky At Night" supporting such
bands as Interpol, Doves and Clem Snide. He has since begun to carve out his own impressive reputation, supporting Seth Lakeman, Aereogramme, Biffy Clyro, and most recently Stephen Fretwell as part of T on the Fringe 2007.
Evan Crichton released his debut album “Bright Our Broken Days” on Mister
Tramp Records in November 2006, and just after release, joined Mister Tramp founders Laura Hastie and Roz Laing in running the label.

'Shine for Me, Hal' has a woosy church organ intro, and there's a lot of different instruments peppering this album, however, they all pale compared to Evan's voice.
