"The History & How it Went Down"
For these guys, Exit4 is more then just a catchy name, it’s their marker for home on the New Jersey Turnpike. Originally founded in the town of Cherry Hill, powerpop foursome Exit4 is stepping out into the national spotlight. As lifelong music fans, the guys knew early on the steps it would take to make a killer band, and invested every ounce of energy they had into doing just that. They may still be young, but the core of this quartet has been writing and performing together for over five years.
With a sound based on infectious guitar hooks and catchy vocal harmonies, Exit4 has carved a niche for themselves crafting simple songs about complex emotions. Following the distribution of over nine thousand free copies of their first EP along with over three hundred and fifty shows nationwide under their belt, Exit4 is stepping it up with the release of their debut full length album “An Ordinary Tragedy.”
The record, produced by Army of Freshmen members Chris Jay and Aaron Goldberg, was recorded in early 2008 in California. With standout tracks like "Your Eyes," and “When I Get There” look for Exit4 to be a major player in the musical landscape for years to come.
