The concept behind Fario is the meeting : collaborations between two artists.
Fario records show two halves created separately and a common track in the middle, a moment to share views or to oppose feelings. All tracks are previously unreleased.

Fear Drop est une revue papier (désormais doublée d'un complément en ligne) fondée en 1993 / 1994, qui, après des débuts assez éclectiques, s'est rapidement trouvée consacrée à diverses formes d'expérimentations musicales, pour la plupart logées dans la zone grise, intermédiaire entre abstraction et figuration. La saisie de ces moments de passage est notre priorité.
Aujourd'hui, notre projet s'articule principalement autour de la réflexion, la description, la traduction des musiques informelles. Elles établissent un couloir entre les sons sans visée esthétique d'environnements sonores naturels ou artificiels et la construction musicale totalement codifiée. Elles voient l'apparition du code, l'hypertrophie de motifs primordiaux sortis de leur gangue, et surtout la puissante naissance de la métaphore, c'est-à-dire la correspondance articulée d'une texture sonore / musicale avec un système cohérent d'images non commandées par l'expression sonore elle-même.
Chaque numéro du magazine Fear Drop est accompagné d'une compilation CD regroupant des morceaux inédits, dont la plupart sont composés pour l'occasion. Les artistes offrent ainsi une écoute indispensable de leur travail que les mots ne font que cerner au plus près.
