The Surfrider Foundation is... ...a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches. Founded in 1984, Surfrider Foundation's most important coastal environmental work is carried out by Surfrider Foundation's 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian coasts.
Recently the St. Augustine and Jacksonville Chapters of Surfrider combined to create the First Coast Chapter. For more information visit our official chapter website or the message board.

Aloha First Coast Surfrider , here is your Hawaii Surf Report through Tuesday Oct 23 2007. A building north-northwest swell will peak today with moderate heights. Several swells from the north and northwest will arrive building Friday night, and again on late Monday afternoon. Peak heights will be near advisory levels along north facing shores.
ponte vedra's beach access and parking is a joke, the only really legal place to park near the inn and club has been taken away and they are towing people. i guess the rich people really can buy the beach, such a shame.
we should start busing in people since there is no parking and the beach is free.
