Hi. I am Glen. I play music, usually on an acoustic guitar. I sing, too. And write songs. I spend about half of my time driving around the country making music for people. The other half is spent at home with my three daughters and wife (and friends and dog) making tasty things to eat. I'd like to make it more like 3/4 at home, but it hasn't worked out that way yet.
I used to be in a band called Toad the Wet Sprocket. We hadn't played together for a few years, but we'll do the occasional show now and then. I still play lots of (well, some of) those songs live solo, just in case you were wondering. I also have a side project with the members of Nickel Creek called Mutual Admiration Society.
My last record, Mr Lemons, came out in 2006, as did the EP Unlucky seven. The new EP is called Secrets of the New Explorers, and is inspired by the new wave of private space travel. Enjoy.....
More info at another time.
Be well
-g
I hope that the tour went great and that everything went according to plan. It does make me jealous that we haven't seen you out our way in a while, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a show soon. Have a great week!

I can't even put into words right now, how monumental it was for me to FINALLY have the Glen Phillips experience! It was incredible to watch you perform and meet you afterwards. I'll let you know as soon as my pics and video from the show are up on my blog. Right now, I'm still walking on clouds! You are awesome!
Hey Glen, great show tonight at the Grey Eagle! Thanks for taking the time after the show - obviously you didn't have to do that, but it's appreciated. Come back down (ha!) to Asheville again sometime - don't be a stranger.
Hey Glen did you by chance read the uplifting article in the New Yorker last week by Seymour Hersh on the ground work for invading Iran. Not the most cheerful article...'hi, where are checks and balances when we need them! -Stephen
