How it started?
Greedy Invalid was founded in autumn 1994. It took two years until the first demo was released(Moan). The next record was made in 1997(The Cold of Past) and it was produced by Blackie, the guitar player of ROOT. The records gained a nice publicity.
First album
Another new line-up was recording the debut album Lost Letter. Doom metal was slowly shaping into new form of doom rock. This CD was out in June 2002, it was on half-way to the current sound and face of the band. Simple and easy to remember songs, greater space for melodic aspect of the music and all this connected in the melancholic suit.
Meaning of Life
In July 2005, the second CD Meaning of Life, was out. It goes further in the tracks of its forerunner and developes the way further. Acoustic guitars gain their space and the group plays with emotions. In autumn Greedy Invalid made their first music video "Sarcastic" and then went on their first small tour in the Czech Republic.
...and we're dancing
In 2007, in spring, the latest album Dancing Little Flames was released. In summer Greedy were presenting their new songs on various open-air festivals and also Kurt, the new bass-guitar player started to play with the band live as Catherine did, the keyboard player. Two music videos were made(Dancing Little Flames and Sand Castle), various radios were visited and Greedy appeared on TV in some metal shows and music videos competition. The band undertook the biggest Czech/Slovak tour in its history called Autumn Wind Tour. This tour was very succesful and Greedy enjoyed it very much.
Now!
A Distant World EP will be soon available online for free! GI are working on new songs for the upcoming album next year and preparing the spring tour.

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
