I made this page in order to do away with the annoynces of keeping up with a personal page as well as to document and share some of the projects I am currently immersed in, or haven taken part in. To sum it up in as little words as possible I have contributed heavily in the d.i.y. punk/hardcore and improvised music communities since the late 1990's. This has resulted in my playing with bands (past and present): Akkolyte, Target Rats, Waking Terror, Terminal Dysentery, Rat Salad, Just Another Consumer, and Cojoba(Puerto Rico by way of New York). I have also collaborated in the avantgarde/jazz/ improvisation world with musicians/bands such as Yells at Eels, Luis Lopes' Humanization 4tet, Douglas Ewart, Scott Looney, Damon Smith, Mark Taylor, Peggy Lee, Paul Plimley, German Bringas, Famoudou Don Moye, Ernest Dawkins, James Harvey, Remi Alvarez, Rodrigo Amado, Floros Floridis, Alvin Fielder, Leena Conquest, Sabir Mateen, Matt Lavelle, Dave Dove, Tim Green, Sara Ruth, Mike Maxwell, Mike Chamy, Ben Billington, Andrew Young, Mike Forbes, Chris Parker, Oliver Lake, Shelley Carroll, Scott Bucklin, Armando Martin, Alexander Bruck, Itzam Cano, Gabriel Lauber, Tatsuya Nakatani, Curtis Clark, John Irabagon, Elliott Levin, Daniel Carter, Sonia Flores, Jason Jackson, Carl Smith, Derek Phelps, Faruq Z. Bey and the Northwoods Improvisers, Micro East Collective, MFM, SubKommander Big Band and the list goes on.........This music has taken me from Dallas to the East Coast, West Coast, Mid West, and Southern United States as well as to Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Portugal, Spain, and Poland. Within everything I play there is a necessity to assert myself intensely although I try to follow no musical dogmas. This is the music I love to play yet hate to conceal internally. Don't be a slave to musical/idealogical factionism or posing! Follow your own path, there is no truth elsewhere.

If you've ever put your support behind something spectacular and subtle, Aaron could use your support now...
Legendary Jazz pianist Dave Burrell is coming to Sandaga African Market, 1325 E. Levee (a few blocks west of downtown Dallas), a week from tonight, Saturday, December 12...doors at 8 pm.
It's a bit more expensive than your usual punk or noise , or even jazz show, so save up your money for this one ($15 - it's OK, you'll live!). Let's make this a beautiful event.
