Grindwall is a project that involves musicians coming from blues, rock and psychedelic experience. It's a workshop working around noise and sound walls concepts, using minimal patterns to construct songs. Their heavy sound comes basically from two, or more, electric guitars improvising on simple bass and drums lines, using loops and repeating phrases to grow up musical ideas and to emprove tension. Main idea is to build powerful music structures exploring the dark side of mind, in a countinuous mantra that grows up from level to level, until caos arrives. Songs are built on two different, and opposite, ideas: short structures based on stiff minimal patterns, and long improvising areas based on repeating beat lines. Lyrics are inspired by underground lectures. Music referes to 60's acid concerts, dark groups experiences, experimental noise bands, contemporary minimal music and, above all, Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, Glenn Branca and Sonic Youth.
