About hapytap

'the experimental electronic folk of Hapytap' - Chris Maguire

Hapytap is a collective of artists and musicians from Japan, Italy and the Uk.
Hapytap consists of musicians Jacques Malchance (synth/live electronics), Rory Gordziejko (trumpet/Bass), Seiji Nakano (Shamisen), Joel Murray (drums), Benjamin Stead (guitar) and Rebecca Hawley (Vocals) and visual artists Megan Beales - Cox (costume and stage design) and Ben Morgan (live visuals).

Live collaborations have also involved artists Rachael Gladwin (harp), Gunhild Ramsay Kristoffersen (Voice), Kjetil Hallre (percussion) and Megan Kovacs (accordion).

Records by Hapytap also involve the creative production of artist Fred Ruddick from No fakin' dj's and 6ixtoys.
