one of my friends EVELYN sent me this interesting article:
Hi F*L*I*P*P*E*R
I'm Evelyn and I am with you in your fight but I also believe in a positive change for the humanity by arising the awareness of peace and love.
I found an article which I think all the world need to know:
Dolphin therapy fights depression
(Nov 25, 2005)
Swimming with dolphins appears to help alleviate mild to moderate depression, researchers have found. A University of Leicester team tested the effect of regular swimming sessions with dolphins on 15 depressed people in a study carried out in Honduras. They found that symptoms improved more among this group than among another 15 who swam in the same area – but did not interact with dolphins.
Bloody sea ... The photographs and video of dolphin slaughter released by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society have brought international condemnation over the seemingly cruel methods used to slaughter dolphins, whose meat is destined for supermarkets. Japan describes the criticism as cultural imperialism. Photo: AFP/ Sea Shepherd Conservation Society
Facts about Dolphin Drive Hunts in Japan
During drive hunts, fishermen panic and confuse migrating pods of dolphins and other small whales with loud banging, then herd them, by the hundreds, into shallow coves, and then butcher them one by one. Every year, some 20,000 small cetaceans of several species, some of which are endangered, including bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, spotted dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, short-finned pilot whales, white-sided dolphins, and false killer whales, are killed or taken in the drives, sometimes illegally. The hunts have been universally condemned by marine experts around the world as brutal, inhumane, and unsustainable, but pleas to stop them have fallen on deaf ears...
This is the first TV channel to really do something.
Its the israeli Channel 1o TV news and this is the footage (please note that also this is very very brutal...)
Each year from October through March, in small towns across Japan, thousands of dolphins and small whales are confined and brutally killed. These slaughters take place in fishing towns including Taiji, Iki, Ito, Futo and Izu. During those months, Japanese fishermen herd whole families and pods of dolphins, porpoises and small whales into shallow bays and mercilessly hack them to death. Most of these small cetaceans are sold as meat in restaurants and stores, while some are destined for a life in captivity.
In addition to the small cetaceans being massacred on the beaches, Japan kills approximately 100,000 more marine mammals (primarily Dall’s porpoises and also dolphins) in its fishing industry. This killing must stop!
Sea Shepherd has been in the forefront of fighting against the slaughter of dolphins, whales and all marine wildlife for over 25 years, and we are committed to ending the barbaric and senseless slaughters in Taiji and other villages in Japan.
I have a petition to save Lolita the Killer Whale at the Miami Seaquarium. Please can you add it to your myspace. I have signed your petition. Mine is http://www.petitiononline.com/25021987/petition.html

I am the author of the petition.
We need more signatures, specially from japanese people (where are you??) and we need that public figures and organizations take a step forward for you! Not only signing but ACTING.
I am doing everything to help. I been giving to everybody flyers, with the information and pictures of this massacre and I will continue because I love the animals.
Hey, thanks for the add. I really think this should have been stopped years ago...I mean come on people we aren't cavemen anymore! I agree 100% and I'll do everything I can to help stop this massacre...
I swam with Dolphins in Australia and they are the most gentle creatures! They wouldn't hurt a soul! I have sent this link to all my friends so that something might be done to prevent these barbarians from continuing this slaughter of innocent animals!
My Friend,
Unfortunatelly some organizations that suppose to ACT for animals, consider the case of your family a bit out of hand... read more at http://blog.myspace.com/plstno
I love sitting out on the patio in the early morning during the summer. Everything seems so peaceful, cheerful and alive first thing in the morning. Birds are chirping, squirrels are frolicking and even the grass, trees and flowers seem more vibrant. It would be so nice to sit quietly at daybreak and watch a deer grazing.
We have deer here but, I never seem to get the opportunity of seeing them still for any length of time. It's probably just as well they are fearful of humans, there is still a hunting season in this area.
I wish you a beautiful and peaceful weekend.:):)
Lots of Luv!!!
