Born in Geyserville, CA, Johnny picked up the violin at age five and the guitar at age seven. He also plays banjo and mandolin. He has been writing, recording, and performing for the better part of his life. A recent graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA (2010), Johnny now resides in Los Angeles, CA... .. Johnny founded Monkey Rock in 2006. Monkey Rock is a community comprised of artists and friends who support each other by promoting and performing as a group. Monkey Rock hosts a weekly "Writer’s Circle" on Wednesdays in Cambridge, MA (from 6-9pm at All Asia, 332 Mass. Ave), and in New York (from 9pm-12am at Googie's Lounge, 154 Ludlow St.) where members and friends of the Monkey Rock communities come to listen and play.
