This is a short trailer for a documentary about the effects of drilling for natural gas on local water supplies. It's shocking. A portion of ticket sales for the 6/11 Knitting Factory show went to help these fimmakers finish their documentary and spread their message around the world.
Since September, we've been locked in our house writing songs, hanging blankets on the walls, playing with screen printers, and cooking pizza for our friends. Emerging from our months of isolated life, we've decided to share some of our works in progress with the world. Everything you see, hear, feel or smell on this myspace was created by us in our post-pizza party disaster of a house. We hope you enjoy it.
Some things that we like are: Late 60's sounds, dance music that has soul, songs with lyrics that grab your brain and pin it to the ground, and of course bands that smash their amps because they actually are that rock and roll.
Some things we've done are: Bought a van, rented a house, self produced an EP, taken two trips to SXSW in Texas, played showcases at CMJ in NYC and Atlantis in Atlanta, GA, won the title "Best Band in NYC" from the Emergenza Music Competition, played shows around the East Coast, West Coast, and even the great Canada, and played month-long summer camp tours three years and counting.
We are 4 guys in a band, we own 4 good microphones, there's a cat that lives in our yard, and it's rock and roll we live.
"One of the best bands I've seen at [SXSW]"
-Amy Luft Montreal Gazette
"The music sounds like it came from their hearts and souls, and more importantly, it's
played from their
hearts and souls. I've heard music from all around the world, but I've never heard anything like these
guys."

"I went to see Julius C, who were awesome as usual. I know I've raved about them before,
but I really can't
stress enough how awesome these guys are. They have so much energy when they perform and their music is
so much fun. ..And
it shows their versatility as a group - that they can perform different kinds of music and therefore
aren't boxed into one
genre. Seriously people, if you have the chance to see these guys perform, take it. They have so much
fun on stage, just
playing around and getting into the music. They really love performing and it makes you love watching
them."
