Juzzie Smith’s music has a distinct feeling of freedom pulsing from within it. As you listen you feel the joy and playfulness loved by all ages and from all walks of life. With a combination of keyboard, guitars, harmonica, voice, didgeridoo and percussion, this unique music is hard to place in just one category. It's bluesy, folky, country, feel good music with a distinct world flavour. He has refined his art to allow his body to become the conductor of his own orchestra. The feet are the heartbeat, the guitars set the grove, the harmonica is the breath that gives life to the music, and the keyboard is the drone, the constant rhythmic pulse that enjoins the music as one. It is not just an awesome sound but also a distinctly entertaining show to watch. This music is playful, fun and infectious; it makes your feet start tapping and your hips start moving!
