Roots musician, songwriter, singer, guitarist, harmonica player, acoustic roots promoter - I wear several musical hats. As for the music I make, well, like most musicians who've been around a while I've acquired a string of favourable quotes (see Album Reviews blog) but, really, just have a listen to the songs on the player and I hope you like what you hear.
Actually, the best quote about me that I think more or less reflects what I do came from a guy who runs a great little acoustic club in Market Harborough:

Thanks, Steve, I'd like to think that was true, and I hope it is. I do my best to speak with my own voice anyway, and if you're a musician reading this, I hope you do the same.
All the songs on the player at the moment are from the two CDs I made with my old outfit, Kontra Band (RIP, see blog).
