Kieran Brindley is rapidly becoming one of the UK’s most talked about young DJ/Producers; not only does he have the technical ability to play an epic scratch and FX set he can also produce some of the biggest floor fillers around.
Kieran is currently a resident for both the world famous Ministry Of Sound (London) and Honeyclub (Brighton). As well as holding these prestigious residencies Kieran has also been found playing one off events all over the UK including appearances at Cream, Gatecrasher, Turnmills, The Cross and many more. Not content with just appearing in the UK, 2008 saw Kieran take part in tours across the Middle East, Mid Europe as well as being personally booked by Judge Jules to play at Ibiza’s legendary club night Judgement Sunday @ Eden.
2008 was a great year for Kieran Brindley as an artist having remixed for or signed tracks to some of the biggest labels going which can include Vacation, Movement, Born To Dance, Dirty Freek, Roostar, Electric Sushi, Itch, 28th Street and of course Kieran’s very own Mass Recordings. Kieran’s ability to produce a constant string of great tracks has seen his work continually achieve chart success. His remix of Garrett & Priestley’s Payout reached number 4 on Trackitdown.net and the remix of Suriv’s Epic Flow which he worked alongside Calvertron (Twocker) charted at number 9 on djdownload.com. Kieran and Calvertron have also broken into the Beatport charts with their originals ‘Click Click’ and ‘Blender’, both climbing into the top 20.
Due to the success of Kieran’s tracks he has received support from some of the biggest names in dance music such as Fatboy Slim, Judge Jules, Laidback Luke, Steve Angello, Roger Sanchez, James Zabeila, Hybrid and Micky Slim.
With both Kieran’s DJ and Artist profile rising so has his own project ‘Mass Recordings’. Mass Recordings is a record label and club night started in 2007 by Kieran himself. With Kieran having his own label it has allowed him to both release his own production and sign material from other leading artists such as Twocker, Ryan Murgatroyd, Calvertron, Ed Kane and Christian Hoff to name but a few. Mass Recordings the club night is one of the UK’s most accomplished promotions with regular events all over the country as well as internationally. In July 2008 DJ Mag voted Mass Recordings number 1 club night in the south of England.
2009 is set to be an even better year with him continuing his Ministry Of Sound and Honeyclub residencies as well as bookings already secured for UK based festivals, a third Middle East Tour (Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain), and appearances in Czech Republic (Creamfields), Russia, Corsica and Ibiza (Judgement Sunday). On the production side Kieran is planning to spend time in the studio working on his own album to be released on Mass Recordings.
