Knives sharpening, girls combing the beards of goats, Kissing Mirrors are coming to town. The heavy suitcase that they’re carrying around is filled with bloody handprints, ominous shadows, dubious literature, a kiss from a ghost, and the two muses Euterpe and Polyhymnia shackled and chained. Their aim is to offer an even mix of jangly indiepop, romantic flutes, white fake-funk, and delirious pretentions. Failure to do so will cause them to take a direct flight to France to strangle a child on Serge Gainsbourg’s tomb.
