Kris Knight is one of the boldest and most out-spoken women in the comedy scene today. As a former rock singer and musician, Kris has lived a rich life and traveled the world, and enjoys telling tales of her wild ride through life. Kris’ mature, sometimes dark blue humor is solid fun and entertainment for open-minded adults of all ages.
Kris was invited to participate in the Annual Houston Comedy Festival, and is a past and current contestant in Houston’s Funniest Person Competition. She performed at The Houston Comedy Benefit for Toys for Tots, featuring local comedians and special guest Sean Rouse.
Kris has also had the pleasure of doing a kid and adult clown act that featured her inability to create decent balloon animals or perform even the simplest of magic tricks as "Krisso The Klown"

TV Shows
As a child I appeared on the Cowboy John show on Channel 4 in Beaumont, TX - 'course so did every kid in Beaumont, Port Arthur and Groves at one time or another.
As a teen, I stood up and asked a question at a taping for a day-time talk show in Pittsburgh, PA. What was interesting is that I was currently incarcerated at a state mental institution and we were on a field trip. My keepers were horrified that I was picked to ask a question. I surprized them and kept it clean.
As an adult I have been interviewed and performed in several short documentaries/TV Specials on Depression and Mental Illness. I have also appeared in several local commercials in Houston, TX.
Films
*cough* None that will ever surface I hope.
Kris Knight's Interests
General
Hmm, let me think... COMEDY and COMEDIANS (no shit), music and musicians, good food, good movies, good books, Karate, diggin' in my garden (and no, that is not a euphemism for masturbation), and masturbation. Other than that, I think I answered most of my interests in the "about me" and "who I'd like to meet" areas to the right.
Music
I enjoy damn near everything except hard core country and polka, but if you get me a couple of drinks even polka can be tolerated in small doses.
Some faves are: New Stuff: Danny Elfman, Green Day, Garbage, Chris Isaak, Offspring, Lost Prophets, Tenacious D, Collective Soul, Coldplay, Lifehouse, Third Eye Blind, Nickelback, Hoobastank.
Old Stuff: Oingo Boingo, Madness, Devo, AC/DC, Def Leopard, Aerosmith, Billy Idol, Bruce Wooley, Howard Jones, Thomas Dolby, Crowded House/Split Endz, The Tubes, Missing Persons, ABC, Leonard Cohen, Richard Thompson, k.d. lang, Patsy Cline, Keely Smith & Louie Prima.
Movies
Edward Scissorhands, Harvey, Dr. Strangelove, Enemy Mine, Beetlejuice, Dune, Batman (Burton films only), X-men, Urgh! A Music War, Buckaroo Banzai, Tank Girl, Bladerunner, 5th Element, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, National Lampoon’s Vacation series, The Wizard of Oz, Basic Instinct, Cool Hand Luke.
Some of my favorite actors/actresses:
John Hurt, Jeff Goldblum, Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman, Larry Fishburn (I refuse to call him Lawrence), Hugh Jackman, Alan Cumming, Javier Bardem, Rutger Hauer, Bernicio DelToro, Tommy Lee Jones, Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry.
Television
Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn (R.I.P. and yes, I know I should get over it. Fuck off), Insomniac, Talk Soup, Best Week Ever, MXC, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network (the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Ed Edd & Eddy, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo & Samurai Jack - it's like droppin a tab watching these shows lol), Travel Sick (I love Grub Smith!), Antiques Roadshow (shaddup, I like it), The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Myth Busters, Trading Spouses, Supernanny (Jo Frost is hot), I love the celebrities crammed into a house shows, and all the shows that document the private lives of asinine celebrities, any type of documentary and/or indie films, and anything on The History, Biography, and Animal Planet channels.
Books
How about authors instead: Frank Herbert, John Varley, Octavia Butler, Anne Rice (insert obligatory "Beauty Series" reference here...and yes I enjoyed it), Philip Jose Farmer, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., Ian Flemming, Pearl Buck, Robert Heinlein, Cleveland Amory, Piers Anthony, Larry Niven, Tannith Lee, MZB, Ursula K. LeGuinn, Mercedes Lackey, Jean M. Auel, W. Michael Gear & Kathleen O'Neal Gear, Hunter S. Thompson, Paul Reiser, and Robert Frost.
Heroes
I'm not sure I have any actual heros, but I do think highly of a few people. I admire those who keep their goals in sight and continue doing what they love no matter what the odds are -- add to this list most stand-up comedians. No, these people are not always standards of clean living or necessarily pure of heart, nor are their actions/words world changing, but they are tenacious and more or less true to their art and each other. I am amazed at how much they tend to help each other in an often cut-throat industry.
I am a struggling stand-up comedian. I am also a musician (voice, guitar, and percussion). I have been a model, and I have done a little acting. Until the day I become rich and famous as a result of my amazing talents, I pay the bills as a Graphic Artist. I enjoy comedy, music, physical activity, reading, Karate (I'm a Purple Belt), and wasting my precious time on the internet.
COMEDIANS - COMEDY WRITERS - ETC.

And be sure to check out "Kris Knight's 12 Questions" feature in my blog. I have some wonderful comedians who have graciously answered my 12 questions, both in written form and audio, such as Colin Quinn, Adam Ferrara, Jim Norton, Gregg Rogell, Laurie Killmartin, Taylor Negron, Eddie Brill, Kevin Pollak, Tammy Pescatelli, Greg Proops, Jim David, Ross Bennett and lots of other great guys and gals.
Who I'd like to meet: Wow, you mean like a wish list? I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know many wonderful comedians. I love meeting anyone working in the comedy field, and that includes stand-up comedians, sketch comedians, writers, creative people, or anyone who enjoys the funny side of life.
As for non-comedian people, I would love to meet and spend time talking to any of the guys from Oingo Boingo. Yes, I’m still obsessed...lol Their music has meant more to me than any other band throughout my life. If I could have a voice like Danny’s, I’d rule the world.
Go to youtube and type in Rob Mungle's name. You'll find some of the most whacked ideas the Japanese have to offer. He's one of the rawest and influential voices of this city's comedy scene. Many clubs are afraid of his wrath.
Come see the Right Reverend lay down the law to modern society!

Tickets 10 bucks at the door. You won't find a better comedy show this cheap.
I play for The Windy City Jammers in Chicago and I've performed with The Midwest Banjo Association and on a couple of river boats. I take insanity to heart.
KRIS KNIGHT STAY FOCUSED & DETERMINED. ALSO GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CAREER. AND ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT FEELING. SO JUST KEEP DOING YOUR THING AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL FALL INTO PLACE.
Did you just give the clap? I thought that was something only chicks could get?
Great. Now I have to go get checked. I should probably tell you know that I didn't wear that condom that I told you I put on. Let me know when you get your menses.
I dont care, I just noticed it was gone and thought it was funny because the thread was way off topic anyways. But yeah if it was a glitch and a bunch of stuff starts missing that would suck.
