Hello friends!
This page is dedicated to all my electric projects. Bands and different musicians that I have worked with and composed for over the years.
I have also posted a little preview of guest solos that I've done on other peoples records.
I hope that you will enjoy these soundclips, and remember that you support the artists if you buy their cd's. We have to live also, and the idea is that we want to continue making music for ya all! :-)
If you want to check out my acoustic music please visit www.myspace.com/lallelarsson for my solo projects and make sure to visit my official homepage www.lallelarsson.com for more info & news.
I will launch a new website this year in connection with the release of the Seven Deadly Pieces DVD and the Lalle Larsson's Weaveworld CD.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Peace & love,
LL

In 2004 Liquid Note Records released the groundbreaking CD Electrocution 250 - Electric Cartoon Music From Hell featuring Lale Larson, Todd Duane on guitar and Peter Wildoer (Darkane, Time Requiem) on drums. E-250 made number 1 in a chart in the UKs most respected jazz magazine, Jazzwise, and is called a masterpiece of originality by the world press. In September of the same year it was released in Japan via Marquee/Avalon with new artwork and a brand new bonus track.
Lale also contributed three compositions to Richard Hallebeeks CD Richard Hallebeek Project, where he is featured as a soloist together with guitarists Shawn Lane and Brett Garsed. RHP topped guitar9.com remaining the most popular fusion album for several weeks, as well as receiving rave reviews.
RHP went on a short tour in Holland earlier this year (2005)
In fall 2004 Liquid Note Records released the CD Contemporary Past, a retrospective of Larsons very first Ominox recordings from 93 to 95. Ten tracks of hard-edged jazz fusion in the vein of Chick Corea, Tribal Tech and the Mike Stern band. Ominox has been something of an underground phenomenon for many years, attracting praise from Mark Varney and a whole host of fans of virtuoso playing. MJ Brady of Proggnosis describes the music a statement of grand proportions that elevate this CD to the level of the very best in the history of progressive related fusion recordings.
In 2004 Larson joined bassist Jonas Reingolds (Flower Kings) band Karmakanic together with Zoltan Csrzs (Flower Kings), Krister Jonsson, Rob Palmen & Gran Edman (ex Yngwie Malmsteen) for a European tour in Belgium, Holland and Germany. A new CD is to be recorded this fall, and a tour in Europe and the US is planned for next year.
Larsons latest trio release Timeline is a CD with Dutch drummer Sebastiaan Cornelissen (Isotope) and American bassist Gary Willis (Tribal Tech,Wayne Shorter, Allan Holdsworth), out on Munich Records. Modern jazz with Rhodes, warm sounds and unusual chords.
You can also hear Lale perform some of his compositions with Marimba soloist Thomas Widlund in their highly original duo, Marimba Flesheaters, music which required almost inhuman practice schedules. Some pieces, for example, had to be rehearsed for a year before they could be performed in front of an audience. Larsons compositions have been performed in Sweden and Denmark and have met with great reviews. A recording of these pieces is in the works.
As a session musician Lale Larson has appeared on albums with Milan Polak, Alessandro Benvenuti, Joel Rivard, Bas Cornelissen, Gary Willis, Frans Vollink, Randy Brecker, Sir Millard Mulch, Virgil Donati, Phi Yaan Zek, Marco Minnemann, Richard Hallebeek, Shawn Lane, Brett Garsed to name but a few.
Hi Lale, many thanks for the add, and your support to spread the word of the Jason Becker Charity ! Hopefully this helps to collect big donations for Jason. Stay cool ! Ron
I find really inspiring that your otherworldy command of electric keyboards is just a facet of your huge interest in music and an open mind towards it. Why creating barriers between styles and instruments? It..s all about different tongues in human expression! The least we need is a, so to speak, "musical nationalism".
It was very cool when I read in your website that you used to transcribe and play Yngwie Malmsteen solos. Narrow-minded persons would not understand how a person who loves the Greats of Jazz and Classical could do that, or use thrash metal to accompany an orchestra. Well, they don..t understand the essential point ;-)
Hi Lale, thanks for your request ! I love your sound, I think you are one of the best pianist i've ever heard !! All the best, www.antonellosassone.com
