Liver Pool is a powerful melody, intimately connected to an intense feeling of wistful melancholy, mixed with shrouded optimism. Liver Pool is to be served with fleeting glimpses of the highs and lows of life, always connecting people to each other.
February 2007 - Formed with the current line-up after several changes and try-outs from previous efforts May 2007 - First show played at the legendary Factory, Helsinki December 2007 - First self-titled, self-recorded and self-produced demo released to abysmal reviews; the style is a mix between old-school hard rock, alternative guitar rock and progressive rock September 2008 - First studio session at Pulu Studio, Helsinki under the watchful eye of Panu Pentikäinen November 2008 - Debut, self-produced (with a little help from Mr. Pentikäinen) EP "Five Pins" released to generally positive reviews; the style has changed a lot towards British/US indie rock and pop, almost all the progressive elements have been tossed in the bin February 2009 - The first pressing of "Five Pins" is sold out; Liver Pool is nominated for the "Yleisöfemma"-award in Femmagaala 2009 May 2009 - Start of the summer '09 studio sessions, again at Pulu Studio, with Panu Pentikäinen recording and producing, along with the band. August 2009 - The fruit of the summer studio sessions emerges: A promotional single is released, simply titled "Promo 2009". The single has been mastered at Finnvox by Minerva Pappi.
